Race Against Climate CHange

The Story

Shaghayegh Tajvidi and I hosted and produced this mini-series together. Race Against Climate Change is a six-part podcast all about Canadian climate solutions that will move you from climate paralysis to inspired action.
The show focuses on the good, the bad, and the ugly within the climate solutions space, always putting human stories ahead of plans that only focus on numbers. The show is engaging, approachable, and features voices from across Canada who are in the race to keep global temperature rise in check.

Role

I was producer and host of the show, along with Shaghayegh Tajvidi.
In additon to on-air duties, I researched the issues, found guests, and wrote episode scripts. As we were recording during Covid-19, we found creative ways to help guests record remotely. This was the first podcast from National Observer, so the process also involved building out capacity and institutional knowledge as well as marketing opportunities.

Well researched and informative
Engaging, well produced, and informative. The guests on the show really know what they are talking about and the hosts keep the show engaging and amusing (even if the subject matter is deeply serious).
